Boom Festival was born in 1997 in Portugal. What started as a Goa Trance festival is today a multidisciplinary and transformational happening for a positive impact on the planet. Learn more about our story in the Boom Festival 20 Years documentary film.

    Purpose & Mission

Boom Festival is a multidisciplinary, transformational and psychedelic gathering. It is a joyous summit of free spirits who arrive from every corner of the world to converge to Portugal to celebrate oneness, music, peace, arts, environment, culture and love. Human development in sync with the planet and “the other” is at the crux of Boom’s essence. It is an experience that provides a plethora of tools for individual and collective change, ultimately aiming at a positive human transformation and land regeneration.

  • Location of Creation or Assembly

    Portugal and Israel

All the collection items available are leftover stock from previous Boom Festival editions.

Our clothing is packaged in deadstock bags, which are made of excess and surplus fabric from our Portuguese partner factory. Our clothing and accessories are shipped in compostable mailers and all other items are shipped in recycled or recyclable carboard boxes.

    Method of Creation

Our clothing collection is a co-creation with Plazmalab and the artwork was originally developed and manually printed via Silk Screen on each item. These items were manufactured in Israel and the fabric was sourced in Turkey.
Our books were written by our Boom Festival team in collaboration with various authors and printed in Portugal. The Boom Festival 20 Years: A Visual and Oral History book was designed by Ilhas Studio, based in Portugal.

    Use & Maintenance

All our clothing and textile accessory items must be washed on a cool or cold wash cycle (never above 30ºC) using gentle and environmentally friendly detergents. In order to maintain the quality of the garments do not tumble dry and do not bleach.

Our fitness mats, fans, bottles and neck straps are easily maintained if you keep them protected from liquids and grease. To clean them simply wipe them with a cloth and a little environmentally friendly surface spray.

Our books are easily maintained by wiping them with a cloth if they become dusty.
