Levanto Centerpiece

A black pottery plate inspired by the centerpieces used by ancient nobility in their tableware services. Levanto is an imposing and elegant piece of pottery, designed to appear to levitate off the surface it is resting on. The ancestral firing process called Soenga, a traditional reduction firing method in a wood-fired pit in the ground at 1000ºC, gives the piece its black color and unique patterns.
