“Miss Castelinhos was created in 2017 by me, Diana Pais, founder and creative director of the brand. My mission is to create clothing that will withstand the daily life of children, which can be inherited and carry memories through generations. I believe that if clothes tell a story, it will be harder to throw them away.” (Diana Pais)
Purpose & Mission
"Inspired by games and the principles of child development, I aim to create a universe that is never static and promotes free play, while stimulating all the senses. In order to achieve this result, I focus my creativity on the functionality, performance and aesthetics of every Miss Castelinhos item.
I also aim to take a stance against the massification of the fashion industry, producing in small quantities and valuing durability, craftsmanship, sustainability and creativity. All items are designed and produced in Portugal, made with deadstock cotton, otherwise destined for downcycling or landfill. I work with certified suppliers, I value creating long-lasting relationships and only choose to work with like minded partners and suppliers." (Diana Pais)

Use & Maintenance
"Tips to help you extend the life of your garments:
Air the items as much as possible outdoors; Remove smaller stains with organic liquid soap – rub with soap and only when the stain has vanished, rinse the spot with water; Wash only when needed at a maximum of 30 °C and with a full load; Do not tumble dry, air dry instead; Cover permanent stains or holes with creative and fun patches."
